Unless, of course, you have a CHL and are carrying your pistol. Do they make bayonets for pistols? Are you implying that a CHL allows you to carry what would otherwise be an illegal knife? I never understood it that way. Then there's that weird clause in PC §46.01(3): Firearm does not include a firearm that may have, as an integral part, a folding knife blade or other characteristics of weapons made illegal by this chapter and that is: (A) an antique or curio firearm manufactured before 1899; or (

a replica of an antique or curio firearm manufactured before 1899, but only if the replica does not use rim fire or center fire ammunition. If anyone can figure out what that means, they can legally carry one without a CHL. - Jim
