Well-known to you, perhaps. Not well-documented, given that most people seem to think that the Stac case was a copyright issue. Gates' fortune is built upon illegal, immoral and unethical behaviors. The Stac incident was only one of many. Stac???? What caused Milo T. Simon COoke to bring that one out of thin air? One of Erik's favourites. Simon's looking more and more like the FUD Meister in waiting.
He's trying to change the subject of the thread away from that of IE flaws... to somthing he knows Erik can run with and further confuse the issue... What I want to know is how I as a mere user can change the default browser used by the windows help system so that I can cut out IE completely... Milo said it was easy to register another browser... but easy as in what??/ a register hack??? with a cryptic string full of gibberish to type in in a non-obvious place??? You as a mere user cannot, unless you want to write a whole bucketload of code for Mozilla. Interfaces are *code* that you need to support. Registration of those interfaces is performed by the code in the browser. BTW: Have you worked out that whole 9.5MM users versus 9.5% of the market thingy yet?
