And as long as no one is crying right this given minute, I'll update you on my life! For the newbies, I've been in the business for 18 years, and on this board for a bunch.  I show up every so often, write a whole bunch of messages, usually step on someone's toes, then disappear for a while.  I have two teenagers that are extremely active and my computer time is very limited. For those that have been around a while, you remember my son (age 15) had back surgery?  The surgery went wonderfully.  In fact, 18 days after his surgery, he was back in school.  20 days after surgery, he had me on the phone trying to get him clearance to start soccer practice.  (The hospital laughed.)  Two months after surgery, he made the JV _base_ball team.  And goes to soccer practice when he can fit it in.  He's 2 taller because of the surgery, a lot thinner, and a lot straighter!  Anyone contemplating having back surgery for your child's scoliosis, give me a holler and I'll tell you how wonderful it is! My daughter just turned 18, and is a senior.  She and I are still on the road four days a week for dance class.  But it has paid off.  Last week she was accepted to Millikin University, a mid-level Musical Theater college in Decatur, Illinois.  She'll be able to major in Musical Theater and minor in Dance.  She is thrilled, and I'm just glad that she was accepted SOMEWHERE. My day care is full.  Unfortunately, it's been a rough year for me in day care.  I have a whole bunch that are under three, and one afternoon kindergartener.  I will never do afternoon kindergarten again.  He doesn't fit in with the rest of the kids, there's too much of an age gap.  Plus, I have to feed him a hour before the rest so that he can catch the bus at 11:30.  Also means we have to bundle everyone up at 11:30 and walk down to the bus.  Lots of fun some of those zero deg days.
